This personalised makeup lesson is for those who have never really dabbled into makeup and looking to master the basics right through to seasoned makeup lover wanting to refine their application techniques and tips to elevate their makeup game! The lesson will be tailored to you to suit your facial features, skin tone and the look you would like to learn. The session is hands on where I demonstrate on one side of your face, whilst you complete the other side as getting stuck right into the practical application is the best way to build your understanding and technique so you can leave feeling more empowered and excited in doing your own makeup!

Overview:

Skin prep (e.g. cleanse, tone, moisturise, lip & eye care)
Correction - under eyes, blemishes etc.
Base - foundation & concealer techniques
Contouring, highlight & blush - to suit your face shape and desired look
Brows - guide for brows using to flatter face shape & application techniques
Eyes - shadow application to suit eye shape, liner and possibly false lash application
Lips - colour and shade selection and application
Final touches - powder & finishing spray

What you will receive:

All students will receive a set up brushes to take home, makeup guide and you will be given my favourite tools & products to try

Duration: 2.5-3 hours

What to bring:

I recommend bringing what makeup products/tools you may have so I can provide advice on how to get the most use out of them. Don’t worry if you have gaps, you will have access to my makeup kit and I will provide recommendations where required :)

Location:

Makeup classes are usually held at my home studio in Wantirna otherwise if you prefer, I am happy to come to you. If this is your preference, please consider areas with natural lighting, table space & chairs (dinning areas are usually good for this) I will bring mirrors and equipment :) There may also be an additional travel fee depending on where you are located.

For the professional makeup artist

This 4 hour hands on masterclass is designed for makeup artists at any level of experience. Whether you are starting out in the industry or an established artist, this masterclass is suited to those who are seeking to level up their skills and knowledge, and to those who are looking to get re-inspired. Learn how Jane achieves her signature bridal soft glam look, and discover the details as she guides you through her process.

Overview:

The lesson will begin with a little chat about yourself and your business, and what you're hoping to gain from your session. This is so we can get clear on your purpose, and to ensure that you are getting as much as you can out of your session.

We will go through Jane's signature soft glam bridal makeup look where every step of the makeup application will be discussed and explained. I will advise what products/colours are best for your model's skin type and features. I will also recommend what tools to use each step of the way.

Questions are encouraged and discussed during your lesson. False lash application using either individual lashes or strip lashes (whichever you prefer) will also be included, discussing how to choose/tailor them to your model's eye shape.

What you will receive:

All students will receive a certificate upon completion, set up brushes and makeup guide to take homeand you will be given my favourite tools & products to try

What to bring:

A model/friend to apply makeup on

Tips for your model: I would recommend finding a model/friend who is comfortable /experienced in front of the camera, and ensure they do not have lash extensions or a lash lift. Advise your model to have their hair styled in a way that makes them feel confident, to arrive with a clean face, and to wear plain, neat/clean clothing. If you need assistance with finding a model, please let me know.
